    Link to McAfee Website   Client: McAfee, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC), is the world's largest dedicated security company.

    Challenge: Improve global employee performance through improved knowledge of and access to all company-offered training and development programs.

    Solution: Redesign, implement, and maintain a clean, clear, and intuitive intranet learning site and corporate university system that promotes important learning programs and gets employees directly to the learning they need. ROI Learning provided several key consultants over a multi-year engagement to direct and manage the learning operations function and to make substantial improvements in both human factors design and the underlying systems and data. Scope included work on systems serving customers and partners, as well as McAfee's approximately 6,000 employees.

    Link to Harte-Hanks Website   Client: Harte-Hanks is a direct and targeted marketing firm based in San Antonio, Texas. Their 6,500 employees drive over $1.1 billion in revenue annually.

    Challenge: Improve webinar effectiveness and audience engagement for the 2009 Virtual Leadership Conference for the Direct Marketing Division.

    Solution: Provided coaching to presenters who were experienced with in-person presentations but wanted help on making webinar presentations more effective. Developed a webinar best practices guide, script, evaluation form, and a series of 1-page checklists for webinar leaders. Provided training and guided rehearsals for 50 presenters and facilitators who delivered 22 webinars over a 3-1/2 week period for 1,000 company employees.

    Link to AFCP Website   Client: The Association of Free Community Papers (AFCP), a nonprofit association of owners, publishers, general managers and sales managers of free-circulation community publications throughout North America.

    Challenge: Significantly enhance members' training opportunities by giving them anytime, anywhere access to the most important courses offered by the AFCP's Leadership Institute. (Traditionally these have been instructor-led classroom courses offered at the association's annual convention.)

    Solution: Assist AFCP management in the selection and customization of a robust Learning Management System (LMS). Design, develop and install a set of user-friendly online courses that form a core component of the professional sales certification program offered by the association. Provide guidance to client personnel on the ongoing administration of their online learning center. (ROI Learning teamed with the development resources of the LHT Group to provide state-of-the-art online courses with engaging student content and exercises.)

    Link to US Army Corps of Engineers   Client: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers consists of over 35,000 military and civilian engineers, scientists and other specialists whose mission is to provide quality, responsive engineering services to the nation.

    Challenge 1: To build a strong commitment to partnership and success on a $32.5 million construction project to provide a new hangar building for MH-47 helicopters operated by the U.S. Army's Special Operations Forces .

    Solution: Verne Morland designed and facilitated a Partnering Conference for about 25 key project leaders from the Corps, the customer, the prime contractor, and subcontractors. At the end of the conference all participants agreed that the conference would contribute to the project's success and this was confirmed at the end of the project.

      Client: Butt Construction Company is a general contractor that has built many major buildings for the U.S. military in cooperation with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

    Challenge: To build a strong commitment to partnership and success on a $198 million, 3-year construction project for the new Human Performance Wing at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio.

    Initial Solution: Verne Morland co-designed and facilitated a 3-day Partnering Conference for about 100 key project leaders from the Corps, the Air Force and Navy, the contractors and subcontractors, and the base civil engineering group. At the end of the conference all participants agreed that the conference contributed to the project's success.

    Follow Up: Verne Morland worked with the team to design a partnership survey which he fielded each quarter for the duration of the 2-1/2 year project. He provided the results to the Project Management Team, guided them through the analysis, and facilitated the development of corrective actions. The results and the action plan were reported each quarter to the Senior Advisory Group and back to all survey participants.

    Challenge: Ensure that all employees understand the principles of the "Net Promoter Score" (a measure of customer loyalty) and how it is applied at LexisNexis to measure improvements in the Customer Experience.

    Solution: ROI Learning, in collaboration with The LHT Group, designed and developed a 30-40 minute, SCORM-compliant online training program featuring video, Flash animations, and interactive knowledge checks. The project was accomplished on a very short schedule and the course was deployed on LexisNexis's in-house Learning Management System.

    Link to OHR America Website   Client: Open House Realty of America is a real estate office franchisor in Greenville, South Carolina.

    Challenge: Attract new franchisees with an attractive, compelling, state-of-the-art website and bring them and their employees up-to-speed quickly on the franchise methods provided by OHR America.

    Challenge: Review current learning priorities and redesign the architecture of an award-winning online university to transition to industry standards and a new ASP model.

    Solution: Interviewed the company's learning leaders, reviewed the existing extranet architecture, and developed technical and visual design recommendations for new NCR's Online University architecture.

    Link to ASTD Western Ohio Chapter Website   Client: The Western Ohio Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) needed a new website design. They also wanted a separate site for an international conference they were sponsoring in partnership with the Canadian Society for Training and Development (CSTD).

    Challenge: Redesign the existing ASTD site and rapidly develop an attractive and informative new site to promote the conference to attendees and sponsors.

    Solution: Provided a clean, powerful redesign of the ASTD site and created a new website with the conference logo and visual theme. Populated it with an eye-catching dynamic display of photographs from last year's conference to provide a sense of authenticity and capture the conference atmosphere.

    Link to Manard Warren Website   Client: Manard Warren Associates is a sales training firm. Their specialty is helping sales people improve their prospecting skills and attitudes, thereby having a measurable effect on sales productivity and revenue growth.

    Challenge: Provide online support to students - anytime, anywhere - to ensure that they understand and apply the new sales concepts and methods covered in training.

    Solution: Redesigned the company's website and developed an online Sales Performance Support Center to provide pre- and post-course information and support. The Center features web and email-based discussion forums moderated by course instructors. These forums also foster the creation of active Communities of Practice within the client companies.

    Challenge: Reposition Eastman University as the one-stop-shop for learning at Eastman.
