Your Expectations and Goals

Effective adult learning begins by aligning the learner's expectations and learning goals with the material to be presented. Now that you have read the introduction to this article, what are your expectations; what do you hope to gain from this experience? Learning goals are frequently classified into knowledge goals - what you expect to know when you finish - and performance or skill goals - what you expect to be able to do when you finish.
